Reporting to: Thushara Chandrasiri (Lead Communications Volunteer)
What does this role do?
The Comms team at ReportOUT play a vital role in highlighting our important and valuable work, including human rights research reports, special projects and events.

Create visually appealing graphics for social media, website and print materials.

Create research and other reports, using Canva.

Collaborate with teams to design promotional materials for events and campaigns.

Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity and branding.

Collaborate with the communications team and contribute creative ideas for visual content.

Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques to keep our visuals fresh and engaging.

Use our branding guidelines and 'look' in all of your work.
Essential skills, experience, or qualifications you need for this particular role:

A creative eye with excellent attention to detail.

Professional experience in graphic design (for example, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).

Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts to non-designers.

Experience with video editing or animation is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

Experience working as part of a remote team, including maintaining frequent and regular communication with the rest of the team.
